Jake Turner is a Spokane-area born and raised farm son from Nine Mile Falls. There he attended Lakeside High School and moved on to graduate from Spokane Community College. During his time in college, Jake competed in the sport of Rodeo as a Bareback Rider and Steer Wrestler.
After college, due to connections made through Rodeo, Jake began working in construction as a framer and a Journeyman in concrete. With his new-found knowledge of the industrial world, Jake moved into industrial sales supplying the same people he once worked for with the needs of the job and the trade.
Jake and his wife, Megan, have owned and operated Cool Beans Coffee on the south hill since 2011. Jake can directly relate to the many daily challenges business owners face through his fun and exciting experiences being a small business owner in Washington state.
As the SHBA Membership Director, Jake is excited to have the opportunity to give back to the same builders and Association he once worked for. Jake will be helping all members learn about of the many great benefits SHBA offers. He will be reminding you continually that it’s all about “building our community one home at a time!”
Jake now lives in Cheney on ten acres. There, he raises two little girls with his wife, and farms their land for hay. His family still competes in the sport of Rodeo with their family and friends.
